Klobuchar Withdraws from VP Consideration, Urges Biden to Pick a Black Woman

by Eric Lendrum

Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) has withdrawn herself from the running to be Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate in November, according to CNN.

In her announcement on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show on MSNBC, she described the race riots following the death of George Floyd as “a historic moment,” and that America “must seize on this moment.” She then urged the former vice president and presumptive Democratic nominee “to put a woman of color on the ticket.”

The senator and former presidential candidate, once believed to be a strong contender due to her Rust Belt roots and possible appeal to suburban women, has come under heavy fire for her record as Count Attorney of Hennepin County, where Minneapolis is located. During her tenure, numerous complaints of misconduct were filed against police officer Derek Chauvin, while Klobuchar’s office failed to pursue charges against him. Chauvin would later go on to be the officer responsible for Floyd’s death.

In recent weeks, Biden’s list of potential running mates has gradually dwindled. He had previously pledged to pick a woman as his running mate, with additional pressure for it to be a black woman following the race riots and the Democratic Party’s increased efforts to pander to black Americans.

Among the other candidates who have allegedly made the short list are former presidential candidate and senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), and Barack Obama’s former national security adviser Susan Rice. Also allegedly in consideration is former candidate and senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), despite her not being a person of color.

    Democrat’s strategy every election:

Step 1: Make sure everyone votes…even the dead; twice if need be.
Step 2: Get the election results close enough for a recount.
Step 3: Suddenly discover/find enough votes to push their candidate over the top.

    Contingency plan:

If their candidate doesn’t win, accuse the opponent of doing the same thing they attempted to do.

Yep, John. I must say they are very consistent in applying one of the “Rules for Radicals” counseled by one of their main leftist political gurus:

“Accuse your opponent of what only you are doing, as you are doing it, to create confusion, cloud the issue, and inoculate voters against any evidence of your guilt.” –Saul Alinsky
